Create a 'customer wall' of photographs of your clients on vacation. Ask clients to bring in a picture for inclusion.
Call every client to thank them any time they have referred someone to you.
Instead of mailing documents to your clients, ask them to come into your office. When they do, make special recommendations on shopping, sightseeing and dining. Consider giving them a useful travel-related gift. Better yet, offer to deliver document to your client’s home.
Create a customer council and invite different clients to sit on it.
Offer to speak on travel-related topics at schools, civic organization meetings, churches and other community functions.
Encourage clients to recommend and refer business to you. Establish a reward program that lets them earn donor credit for their favorite charity, mileage awards or gift items.
Offer service guarantees.
Buy your best customers lunch. Take them to a ball game or play golf with them once in a while. This small investment will show them how important they are to you.
Hold special customer events. Host a cocktail party. Hold a private sale.
